• It's best to avoid any anti-aging treatments such as microdermabrasion, chemical peels, lasers, or facials within 2 weeks of your appointment. However, if your beautician is notified, they may be able to avoid the treatment area which will therefore not impact your results.

• Facial injections should be avoided for one month both prior to and following your appointment.

• Best to avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior to your appointment and avoid caffeine on the day of your appointment. Caffeine and alcohol can cause excessive bleeding.

• Avoid the use AHA skincare products close to the enhancement area within 2 weeks of your appointment.

• Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning for one week prior to your procedure.

• Stop taking any blood thinners (if medically able) one week before your appointment.

• You may wish to take a couple paracetamol prior to your appointment. Please do not take aspirin or ibuprofen unless medically required.

BROWS: 

• Please avoid tinting, henna and lamination for at least 2-3 weeks prior to your appointment.

• Please exfoliate the treatment area thoroughly (but gently) in the lead up to your appointment to allow for better serum implantation.

LIPS:

• Moisturised and exfoliated lips achieve the best results. Dry and cracked lips prevent needle penetration, reducing serum intake. Please avoid any heavily pigmented lipsticks or tints in the days prior to your appointment.

EYELINER:

• Please remove false eyelashes at least one week prior to your appointment. Please do not wear mascara on the day.

​

AFTERCARE

​

• Remove any released pigment or lymph build up by wiping area with a dry, clean cotton pad.

• Try to avoid getting water on the treated area for 5 days. Gently pat dry with a clean cloth if water gets on the area. Popping on some of the supplied barrier balm may help protect the pigment and the healing skin.

• After 5 days, water will help gently exfoliate to encourage regeneration and minimise flaking.

• Avoid touching the treated area and no snuggles with pets (sorry) for at least the first few days. You'll still have an open would that is at risk of infection if not properly cared for.

• Avoid placing any makeup on the treated area for 2 weeks.

• Change your pillowcase when you get home to avoid any spread of bacteria.

• Do not pick at any scabbing. This can cause damage to your skin.

• An additional session can take place after 6 weeks.

BROWS: Keep treated area dry and apply a small amount of balm provided to soothe area if you experience itchiness, dryness or some scabbing.

LIPS: Regularly apply the balm provided. This will assist with healing. Keep putting on balm until the container is finished. Ideally, you do not want your lips to be 'dry' at any stage during the first 7-10 days post treatment.

​

EYELINER: Please cleanse your eyes twice a day with saline solution provided. Do not apply mascara for at least 7 days and refrain from reapplying false eyelashes for at least 4 weeks.
