SKIN CAMOUFLAGE

For areas of the skin that have lost their natural pigment, Skin Camouflage offers a non-surgical solution to blend hypopigmented areas into your surrounding skin tone.

This is a highly specialised form of paramedical tattooing that requires an expert eye for colour theory and skin physiology.

Common Applications:

  • Vitiligo: Helping to mask stable patches for a more uniform appearance.

  • Hypopigmented Scars: Adding "life" back to white or flat scars.

  • Skin Grafts: Shifting tone, adding dimension and blending the edges of grafts for a more consistent and seamless appearance.

The Process:

This is the ultimate test of colour theory. I custom-blend multiple pigments to match your unique skin tone and undertones. We "pixelate" the pigment by 'dusting' into the hypopigmented (white) areas, slowly building up the colours so it blends seamlessly into the surrounding healthy skin.

Expectations & Healing:

  • Day 1-7: The area may look slightly dark, golden splotchy or red as it heals. This is a normal part of the pigment integration.

  • Weeks 2-6: The pigment settles. Camouflage is a conservative process; we always start lighter and "build" the density over 2-3 sessions to ensure it never looks "flat" or artificial.

Our camouflage philosophy:

Seamlessness is the ultimate goal. We believe paramedical tattooing should be invisible—using precise colour theory to blend hypopigmented areas until they are no longer a distraction, but a harmonious part of your natural tone.
